“Applications open Monday for the aid, available to companies deemed “non-essential” at the onset of the pandemic to reimburse costs and loss of revenue….Eligibility is limited to businesses with up to 50 employees that have been in operation since Dec. 31, 2019, or earlier, and that were deemed “non-essential” by the Murphy administration and ordered to shut down operations during the height of the pandemic when tens of thousands of enterprises – like hair and nail salons, gyms and fitness centers, restaurants and many forms of retail.”
